IFIBCA’s Participation in the Plexconnect - 2024
‘Plexconnect 2024 Inauguration – Lamp Lighting Ceremony’-
Plexconcil organized Plexconnect 2024 from 7th to 9th June 2024 at BIEC, NESCO Grounds in Mumbai.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Ravish Kamath, IFIBCA Past President and PLEXCONCIL Chairman Shri Hemant Minocha; Vice Chairman Shri Vikram Bhadauria; Past Chairman Shri Arvind Goenka; Plexconnect 2024 convener Shri Dhruv Sayani, and Executive Director, Shri Sribash Dasmohapatra, Executive Director.
Chief Guest Shri. Ravish Kamath said, “PLEXCONNECT 2024 exemplifies India’s prowess in the plastics industry, showcasing our innovative capabilities and strengthening global trade relationships. This event reaffirms India’s position as a premier destination for high-quality plastics products and machinery. The demand for polymers in India is outpacing GDP growth, projected to hit $30 billion by 2047, up from $3-4 trillion in 2022. With ₹5.5 lakh crores worth of new projects underway, the Indian petrochemical industry is pivotal in the nation’s aim to become a $1 trillion economy. This sector’s significance is underscored by government initiatives and international collaboration efforts.
Indian Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association Stall at Plexconnect 2024:
- The 3-day event focused on exports with 800 buyers from 80-plus countries worldwide.
- Plexconcil fixed business to business meetings between manufacturers and buyers during the event.
There were technical conferences at Plexconnect, besides an export awareness campaign. Sustainability and recycling were the other major topics at the exhibition
IFIBCA created a 36 Square meter Stall at Plexconnect 2024 Exhibition.
This exhibition focused on Plastics and was held from 07 to 9th June 2024 at Bombay International Exhibition Centre, NESCO Ground, Goregaon, Mumbai.
IFIBCA stall show cased all 45 members companies with their respective logos, company name, tag line and websites. We had on display a reclaim 360 (PCR recycled FIBC bag of 1 ton capacity placed on an elevated display for all visitors to feel & see.
